City of Charlotte issued the following announcement on Mar. 3.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations Committee is now accepting nominations through Friday, March 18, for the 42nd annual Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police-Community Relations Awards.

The award seeks to recognize Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers and work teams from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area who have made outstanding contributions to the improvement of police community relations. Click the story below to learn more about the awards and submit a nomination.
