Cornelius Police Department issued the following announcement on Jul. 23. 

Beginning Monday, July 26th, we will be accepting donations of School Supplies for our Annual Pack the Patrol Car! All donations can be brought to the Cornelius Police Department and left in the box we will have in the breezeway of our lobby. If you would like to donate supplies, we ask that you please try to bring the supplies by during Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. ⁠
