Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
After three recent garbage truck fires in Cornelius, our friends at Waste Pro would like to remind residents that items like rechargeable batteries, swimming pool chemicals, and hot embers should not be disposed of in curbside bins.
