TOWN OF CORNELIUS: Bidding Open for 3,500 Square Feet of Town-Owned Property

Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on June 6.

The Town of Cornelius has accepted an offer to purchase approximately 3,500 square feet of Town-owned property at 18936 Statesville Road (Tax ID: 00517183).  The offer to purchase is for $8,000.  Within ten (10) days of June 7, 2022, any person may raise the bid by not less than ten percent (10%) of the first one thousand dollars ($1,000) and five percent (5%) of the remainder.  If the bid is raised, the bidder shall deposit with the Deputy Town Manager five percent (5%) of the increased bid and a new ten (10) day upset period will begin.  This procedure shall be repeated until no further qualifying upset bids are received.  Please contact Deputy Town Manager Wayne Herron at 704-892-6031 or wherron@cornelius.org for any questions.
