Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on May 17.

With stocked ponds at Robbins Park, plus great county-run, lakeside facilities at Jetton Park, Ramsey Creek Park, and Blythe Landing, we are excited to announce a new, free Tackle Loaner Program!

This program allows you to check out fishing rods and tackle from our office at Town Hall. It is open to adults, ages 18 and up, and up to two rods and one tackle box can be checked out at one time for a maximum of three days. Be aware that anyone in NC must have an NC fishing license to fish in waterways, including in parks.
