TOWN OF CORNELIUS PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT: Drawing Contest To Design The Next Official Campaign Graphic!

0Comments

Town of Cornelius Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on July 27.

Calling young artists! Heads Up Cornelius needs your help to design the next official campaign graphic!

All you need to do is print off the contest sheet and illustrate what roadway safety means to you.

This can be safety when you’re driving, walking, or riding your bike.

Feel free to create your design with any tools you’d like. These can be crayons, markers, paint, glue, paper – whatever your heart desires!

Our Summer Camp kids created theirs last week, using simple crayons and markers.

Be sure to write your name at the top of the page and include a good contact phone number or email address.

WINNERS: The first place artist will receive a $50 Parks & Recreation voucher, a feature in the Town newsletter, and will have the honor of flipping on the holiday lights at our annual Light Up Cornelius event!

2nd and 3rd place artists will each receive a $20 Parks & Recreation voucher and a congratulatory shoutout in the Town newsletter.

Contest ends August 12th. Good luck!
