0Comments

Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.

The Davidson Comprehensive Plan, and the town’s 2020-21 Strategic Plan, identified a need for the town to focus on the area of Equity and Inclusion. Specifically, the strategic plan clearly listed objectives of establishing an affordable housing manager/equity position and developing an affordable housing plan.

In October 2020, the Town of Davidson welcomed Eugene Bradley as its first Housing and Equity Director. Right now, the town is collaborating with OnPointe Partners to create an affordable housing plan for Davidson.

You can track progress on equity and inclusion in the Implementation Guidebook available for review on the town’s website. You can also help move further in our work in the critical area of affordable housing by filling out our survey, open for another two weeks, on our website at www.townofdavidson.org/livedavidson.
