TOWN OF DAVIDSON FIRE DEPARTMENT: Community Input Session Monday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m.

Town of Davidson Fire Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.

The Town of Davidson Fire Department invites local community members to participate in the upcoming fire department Strategic Plan process. The department will be participating in a two-day work session to help develop a comprehensive Strategic Plan. Drawing from results that were noted in the Community Risk Assessment / Standards of Cover report, the department will be moving to develop a Strategic Plan  to help with future planning and growth within the organization.

As a component of this Strategic Plan facilitation process, there will be an in-depth community input session when residents, elected officials, and external stakeholders will meet to share their thoughts and opinions regarding services provided by the Davidson Fire Department. The community input session is an important part of the strategic plan process as the department depends on community member feedback and input to help steer its  strategic plan. This input session is very valuable for the fire department to understand what services are important to the Davidson community.

The public input session will be Monday, October 10 at 5:30 pm in a large conference room at the Homewood Suites in Davidson. A meal will be provided for attendees. Participation numbers are limited, and those interested can register HERE.
