TOWN OF DAVIDSON POLICE DEPARTMENT: Host Summertime Storytime
0Comments

Town of Davidson Police Department issued the following announcement on June 23.

The Davidson Police Department invites area children (or those young at heart) to attend a Summertime Storytime on Wednesday, June 29 on the steps of the Davidson Public Library. There will be two sessions, one at 1:30 p.m. and one at 5:30 p.m. Bring a blanket and join local officers as they read Officer Buckle and Gloria by Peggy Rathmann.

“This is a great opportunity for Davidson children to come have some fun, listen to a story, and interact with police,” stated Resource Officer Kanita Boone. “Community engagement is a priority for the department, and it makes sense to start with kids!”
