Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Mar. 3.

Developer Jake Palillo (Bi-Part Development, LLC.) proposes to develop 589 Portside Drive, a +/- 0.88 acre site west of Interstate 77 to accommodate a three-story residential building featuring six units with parking underneath the building. The parcel lies in the Lakeshore Planning Area which requires a minimum five percent open space on-site and preservation of the shoreline for public use. The proposal includes a small park component and sidewalk access to the site/building.

The Davidson community is invited to attend a public input session on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 5:15 – 7:00 P.M. at Davidson Town Hall, 216 South Main Street. The purpose of the meeting is to review the development proposal and solicit feedback. Overview presentations by Town of Davidson staff and the project team will occur at 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., with time allotted for questions and viewing the plans in an open house format after each event.
