Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.

If you’re free this Wednesday, we’d love to see you at a community meeting hosted by us! 

The Historic Landmarks Commission is holding an open community meeting to discuss the placement of a roadside historical marker at the site of Huntersville School #2 to recognize the school’s long-standing community significance and recent designation as a local historic landmark. 

Meeting details  September 14 at 6:30 p.m. 508 Dellwood Drive, Huntersville
