Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Sept. 5.
The public is invited to attend a Community Meeting hosted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission to discuss the historic roadside marker to be placed at the site of the Huntersville #2 Rosenwald School.
The meeting is to discuss the roadside historical marker to be placed at the site of the Huntersville #2 Rosenwald School in recognition of the school’s long standing community significance and recent designation as a local historic landmark.
