Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on May 20.

WHAT TO DO:

Huntersville QRious Kids to Parks Day Scavenger Hunt 

The month of May we will place signs in our parks with QR codes.

  • Scan the QR code to get the riddle (2-3 riddles/park) 
  • Find the object/place in the park that answers each riddle
  • Take a picture/selfie of you with the answer
  • Post a few of your pictures in the event on Facebook or email: thouk@huntersville.org 
  • Participant names will be placed in a ‘hat’ and one winner will win $50 towards a birthday party at the Huntersville Rec Center.
  • Deadline to post pictures is May 31, 2022

Parks included: Abernathy, Barry Park, Bradford Park, Greenway Park, Holbrook Park (sign in gazebo), North Mecklenburg Park, Rosedale Nature Park, Waymer Park  **Signs are located mainly at the restroom/water fountain area at the parks.

You do not have to visit every park to enter the drawing, just completing one park & posting/emailing will get you an entry
