Town of Matthews issued the following announcement on Sep 2. 

The wait is finally over! The Dog Park at Purser-Hulsey Park officially opens this Friday, September 3rd! 

Park hours are dawn to dusk. We have two separate fenced areas for small dogs (under 25lbs) and large dogs (25lbs+). The water spigots are not ready yet, so plan to bring water for your dog to drink.

The Dog Park is located at 3024 Matthews-Mint Hill Road.
