TOWN OF MATTHEWS: Reminder: Yard Waste/Leaf Collection

TOWN OF MATTHEWS: Reminder: Yard Waste/Leaf Collection
0Comments

Town of Matthews issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.

Residents are asked to bag leaves and put them out for your weekly yard waste pickup. You can put out up to 20 bags per week

Do not rake/blow leaves from your yard into the street. Not only is that a violation of the Town’s stormwater ordinance and can result in a fine, but they typically end up in storm drains. Keeping storm drains clear is critically important to help reduce localized flooding and keep pollutants out of our waterways.
