TOWN OF MINT HILL: 4th Annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest
0Comments

Town of Mint Hill issued the following announcement on Sep 3.

We are pleased to announce the 4th Annual Town of Mint Hill Scarecrow Decorating Contest will be held October 1-31, 2021. Thanks to our sponsor Novant Health – Mint Hill Medical Center, we are offering over $1500 in prizes for business and residential categories.

Once again, we are expanding the event beyond Town Hall and out into the community. How will this work? You create a scarecrow and put it on display outside your business, church, home, or club. We will make sure there is list of all locations where scarecrows are on display for voting. Patrons will be encouraged to visit your location and vote on who has the BEST SCARECROW in Mint Hill. Last year we had over 70 entries. Let’s top that number for 2021. Help us decorate our Town and give people a reason to get out of the house while social distancing.

Sign up today for the scarecrow decorating contest. Whether scary or funny, silly, or ridiculous, this is your chance to express yourself or your business. The contest is open to everyone. All schools, businesses, youth organizations, church groups and individuals are welcome. There is a $10 entry fee. Winners will be announced on October 23 prior to the Mint Hill Madness fireworks. For more information, visit our website at minthillevents.org, email us at info@minthill.com or call 704-545-2335.

Thank you to Novant Health – Mint Hill Medical Center for their generous support for Annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest.
