Town of Mint Hill issued the following announcement on Dec. 2. 

The Town of Mint Hill will host the Town’s Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 4. Join us downtown for a special nighttime parade featuring local businesses, organizations, bands and of course, Santa. The parade will travel down Matthews-Mint Hill Road from Bain School to the Mint Hill Library. Santa will leave after the parade and return to Town Hall for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.
Join us for food trucks and entertainment at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony following the parade at Town Hall.
