Town of Mint Hill issued the following announcement on Mar. 23.

Mint Hill Events, Inc. is excited to announce our 2022 event schedule. 

Starting April 1st, join us for a Town-wide Easter Egg Hunt by following the clues posted on social media.  When you find an egg, scan it’s unique QR code and enter your name for a chance to win.  The more eggs you find, the more chances you will have to win.

On May 21, we are pleased to announce the 1st Music and Brews Night.  Join us at Mint Hill Veterans Park for a night of live music featuring a variety of music by Coconut Groove and brews from Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and a variety of food trucks serving dinner.  No outside alcohol is allowed.

In June, Family Fun Nights will return to Mint Hill Veterans Park.  Family Fun Nights bring the community together for a night of wholesome fun featuring a free concert, food trucks and lots of family games.  Family Fun starts at 6:30 pm with the concert starting at 7:00 pm.  The 2022 schedule is as follows:

June 18 — Groove Machine
July 16 — Pluto for Planet
August 20 — Red Dirt Revival
September 17 — Jay Hoff & Company

The Tina Ross Afternoon in the Park, an annual arts/craft festival, will take place on Saturday, October 1 around the fountain in front of Mint Hill Town Hall.

Mint Hill Madness has been scheduled for October 20-22, 2022.  The three-day festival has something for everyone; delicious food, great music ranging from country to rock, a fantastic family carnival and of course, spectacular fireworks show.

The Town of Mint Hill will once again host the Christmas parade prior to the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 3, 2022.  Join us downtown for a special nighttime parade featuring local businesses, organizations, bands, and of course, Santa.  The parade will travel from Bain School to the Mint Hill Library. After the parade, Santa will return to Town Hall for the Christmas Tree Lighting.

Mint Hill Events, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization staffed by volunteers dedicated to bringing safe, family friendly events in a healthy and artistic atmosphere to the Town of Mint Hill fostering community pride and civic involvement.
