Town of Weddington issued the following announcement on Dec. 2. 

Saturday, December 4th and Sunday, December 5th, from 5:00-8:00 p.m at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- 5897 Hemby Road. A FREE family-friendly community event to kick off the season of giving. A live nativity and complete with animals and an audio dramatization to listen to in the car as you drive through the “Journey to the Stable” experience. Donations for Baby Bundles, Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays, and Refugee Support Services are greatly appreciated. Visit the Facebook page for more information.
