Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.
Sharing a flyer with correct information for this important community meeting this Saturday.
Hope many of you may be able to attend!
Please note: the town was comfortable with our logo being on the initial flyer because we are very supportive of the initiative and have been involved in the conversations around the collaborative effort.
The town is excited about working with the many partners in the CHAP program and developing opportunities for the West Davidson community.
We will be an active participant in the meeting, but are not organizing the gathering. Inclusion of our logo was never meant to imply the event was sponsored by the town or that town dollars were being utilized in producing the event.
Once we began to get inquiries relating to how specifically the town was involved based on the flyer alone, we realized it would be prudent to remove the town logo to better clarify who is hosting the event.
Affordable housing remains a key goal of the Town of Davidson, and the town continues to support the CHAP program in their work to support much needed critical home repairs in our community.
