SEG Systems Announces Relocation and Expansion into Huntersville Industrial Facility | TOWN OF HUNTERSVILLE: (huntersville.org)

Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.

SEG Systems, a leading in-house manufacturer that designs, engineers, and builds integrated merchandising displays, lightboxes, frames, and graphic solutions, announced it is relocating to the Town of Huntersville. The relocation and expansion is a $30 million investment creating 150 new jobs, in addition to 86 jobs moving from Charlotte (236 total).

“It is wonderful to see businesses choosing to relocate to Huntersville.” Says Huntersville Mayor, Melinda Bales. “This is a testament to the thriving speculative development in Huntersville and we look forward to SEG contributing to the business community.”

SEG will be moving into Interchange Logistics Center, a Class-A industrial facility that is approximately 225,000 square feet. Completion and upfit is expected in Q4 2023.

“As a Huntersville native, it is beyond exciting to bring SEG Systems to Huntersville,” said Reid Johnson, President of SEG Systems and Services. “Over the next 5 years we hope to add 150 high quality jobs to the Huntersville community. The location is perfect for our existing employee base, logistics needs, and for attracting new employees.”

“SEG’s expansion will have a positive impact in our local business economy, and we are proud to welcome them to our community.” Lake Norman Economic Development Executive Director, Ryan McDaniels added.

Interchange Logistics Center is located at the intersection of Hambright Road and Mt. Holly Huntersville Road in Huntersville, built by Trinity Capital Advisors. Others on the building team include: Edifice as General Contractors, Merriman Schmitt as Architects, and D&A Wolverine as the Civil Engineer.
