Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.
Registration is open for the 2023 Mayors’ Fitness Challenge – a friendly and healthy fitness competition between the towns of Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson.
Residents of the three towns will compete in a six-week fitness challenge to win the title of “Fittest Community.” The challenge is open from March 12 - April 22, and each week residents will complete activity/exercise minutes and report them. Special programs will be offered throughout the challenge to gain additional points. At the end of the six-week challenge, the Town with the highest average total will be awarded the “Fittest Community” trophy.
Our annual Kick-Off Event will be held Sunday, March 12 at Bailey Road Park in Cornelius from 2 – 4 p.m.
